Stabi-Lite Leg Assembly
$331.43
STABI-LITE stabilizer leg assembly, EQ Systems part 7588
STABI-LITE is an electric stabilizing system for Class B and Class C motorhomes. It takes the lean out of a coach when a slide room is extended and nearly all of the sway from movement inside. The leg is a motor driven screw jack, not a hydraulic cylinder, and the system is a stabilizer, not a leveller.

Maintenance, and this affects warranty
Keep the leg assemblies clean. Extend the leg to about mid point and clean with a wet rag or a mild detergent such as car wash solution. Do not spray cleaner heavily onto the motor gearbox, and do not use a pressure washer. The screw and nut must be kept clean and dry. After cleaning, lubricate the pivot points and the screw and nut with a dry film silicone or PTFE spray only. Oily or greasy lubricants are not allowed: they attract dirt and cause screw and nut problems.
Before replacing a leg
If a leg will not run, check the power switch, then check for a disable interlock, since extend is blocked with the ignition on or the park brake released. Verify power and ground at the controller, voltage at the control panel, and power and ground reaching the motor connector when the switch is pressed. If voltage is reaching the motor and it will not run, the motor gearbox may be bad or the jack may be jammed: try the cleaning and lubrication first. In extreme cold the legs can simply be frozen in place. The motor and gearbox replacement is part 6836.
