Replacement switch panel for the EQ Systems RV Stabi-lizer system. The panel is the control the operator presses; the controller that drives the motors is a separate black box, part 3424.
Mounting
The switch panel is not weather resistant and must be mounted in a protected area, in or under the dashboard, in a cabinet or panel in the living area, or in a sealed baggage compartment. A mounting bracket is provided to aid mounting. Keypads and panels are considered maintenance free, but a panel exposed to liquid will need replacing, which is the most common reason one is ordered.
Diagnosing before replacing
If nothing operates, verify the power switch is on, check for a disable interlock, since extend is denied with the ignition on or the park brake released, and confirm there is power and ground at the controller. Then check for voltage at the control panel itself. If the panel has voltage and pressing it does nothing at the controller, the panel or its harness is the fault.
