RV Stabi-lizer controller 3424, replacement
Replacement controller for the EQ Systems RV Stabi-lizer system. The controller is the black box that drives the stabilizer leg motors; the switch panel the operator presses is part 3425.
Mounting
The controller is not a sealed or weatherproof unit and must be mounted where it is protected from the elements, somewhere the wiring harnesses can be routed to it. Screw holes in the corners are provided for mounting. Check that it is properly secured and that the plug connections are free from corrosion.
Before replacing it
If nothing operates, verify the power switch is on and check for a disable interlock, since extend is denied with the ignition key on or the park brake released. Then confirm power and ground reach the controller, and voltage reaches the control panel. If power and ground reach the motor connectors when the switch is activated and a leg still will not run, the motor gearbox may be bad or the jack may be jammed, not the controller. In extreme cold the legs can be frozen in place.
