When this is the fault
A slide motor that runs, or is heard running, while the room does not move is the classic symptom of a stripped gear or a sheared drive pin. The pin is designed to be the sacrificial part in the drive train, so it is worth inspecting before the complete drive assembly, part 70314, is replaced.
