Description
Anti creep valve for slide-out cylinders, EQ Systems part 2404
The anti creep valve fits the rod end port of a slide-out cylinder, the retract side. On slide cylinder assemblies built with one it is plumbed inline between the cylinder port and the hose.
Fitment and installation
- Used on slide-out cylinders. The OEM parts books show it added to the retract side of the slide cylinder assembly
- Installs at the rod end port. The cylinder may need to be loosened and rotated to let the valve assembly spin on
Diagnose before you replace
A slide room extending on its own from the stowed position means a loss of pressure in the common retract circuit, and trapped air is the leading cause. EQ Systems troubleshooting starts with bleeding the hydraulic system, jacks first and then the slide circuits, then a hose routing test to confirm the plumbing, before any part is changed. Fitting a new valve to a system full of air will not fix the drift. The guide is linked below.
