TJ replacement cylinder, EQ Systems part 1218EQ
Replacement hydraulic cylinder for the EQ Systems TJ tongue pull jack. The TJ is the bumper pull jack in the EQ Systems trailer range: 6,000 lbs lifting capacity, 16 inch stroke, designed for bumper pull applications and supplied with manual override as standard.
What is replaced
The cylinder is the working part inside the jack. The outer tube, mounting and foot stay on the trailer. A cylinder is the right part when the jack leaks, will not hold a load, or will not build pressure while the pump and valves test good.
Check the fittings
Older EQ Systems cylinders were built with NPTF fittings and current production uses SAE. On an SAE fitting there are no threads exposed between the cylinder body and the hex; on NPTF the threads are exposed. If your jack has NPTF fittings, call EQ Systems at 800-846-9659 before ordering so the correct fittings go out with the cylinder.
