The handle you fit into the manual override hand pump to work a jack by hand when the system has no power. It fits any of the hand pump valve types EQ Systems offers.
Using it
To extend a jack, install the handle in the hand pump and pump it. Expect ten to twenty strokes before enough pressure builds and the jack starts to move. To retract, first pull the red knurled knob on the directional valve out and turn it a quarter turn so it stays out, then pump the handle. Return the directional valve to its normal position afterward or the jack can drift down from the stowed position.
Manual override by hand pump is fitted to pumps such as the 2142, 3126 and 3170. Pumps without a hand pump use an output shaft override driven by a drill instead. If your pump has no hand pump body to put a handle in, check the end of the motor, under the pump top cover, for the override coupler.
