Auto Level keypad 3103, replacement
Replacement keypad for EQ Systems Auto-Level systems. The keypad is the control the operator touches; the controller that reads the level sensor and drives the hydraulics is a separate black box.

Why keypads fail
Keypads are considered maintenance free, but they are not waterproof. Exposure of the keypad to liquid will require its replacement, which is the single most common reason one is ordered. Mount it where it will not be subjected to dampness or spilled liquids.
Reading the panel before you replace it
There is a jack down light for each leg. The light should come on when the jack is not retracted and go out when it is fully retracted; if it stays on, the fault is in the pressure switch circuit rather than the keypad.
Voltage
Voltage at the panel should not fall below 11 volts during operation, and Auto-Level stops at 10.5 volts. A system that runs manually but will not auto level is usually low voltage, not a failed keypad. A low voltage light comes on when supply falls below about 10.5 volts and stays on until a button on the panel is pressed.
After fitting
Set the Null so the system knows the level position you want. The procedure is in the owner manual and there is a video in the support section.
Verify compatibility before ordering
EQ Systems has built a number of controller versions and they are not interchangeable across every system. Check your original equipment before purchasing, either through the support section or by calling EQ Systems at 800-846-9659 with the number printed on the controller you are replacing.
