Hydraulic landing gear, dual round leg, 16" stroke, 24,000 lbs
Hydraulic Landing Gear by EQ Systems makes stabilizing and lifting the truck to dock height a breeze. Simple rocker switch controls operate the jacks quickly and safely, saving time and eliminating the chance of injury from slipping and falling or cranking manual jacks. The twin legs operate independently to lift, level and stabilize single and tandem axle trucks, vans and lowboys: one side can be raised without the other.

System
One EQ Systems pump assembly runs both legs and can be mounted in a powder coated steel box or tray, in 12 or 24 volt. Manual override options are available so the gear can still be operated if power is lost. Switchgear is made in house, performance verification tested, with a braided nylon exterior, and the keyed dual switch control prevents unauthorized use.
Safety options worth specifying
- Pilot operated check valve, which hydraulically locks a leg in place
- Mechanical lock out bars, which physically lock a leg in the extended position
Specifying the right unit
EQ Systems builds landing gear and lifting systems to specification. Capacity, stroke and leg style all vary by application, and custom brackets and foot pads change the mounting. If your trailer needs a combination that is not listed, call EQ Systems at 800-846-9659 and it can be built.
Maintenance
Hydraulic systems run on Dexron III ATF, with the reservoir about one inch below the top with the legs retracted. Required inspection is every 12 months in normal use and more often in extreme use: keep all connectors tight and free from corrosion, particularly the ground to the pump stud and the positive cable to the motor solenoid.
