Several of these cylinders replace an earlier smaller bore version, so an older coach may have a 1 1\/8 inch bore cylinder where the current part is 1 3\/8 inch.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch4\u003eBefore you replace a slide cylinder\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eA slide room that extends on its own from the stowed position is usually not a failed cylinder. It indicates a loss of pressure in the common retract circuit, and the leading cause is trapped air. Bleed the system and run the hose routing test in the troubleshooting guide below before condemning a cylinder.
