The ring for SL 18 jacks is part \u003ca href=\"\/products\/cushion-dampening-ring-medium\"\u003e1799\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch4\u003eIf yours has fallen off\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf the ring comes loose or falls off it can be glued back onto the bottom of the cylinder, or it can simply be left off. It is not a seal and it carries no load, so a missing ring causes noise and nothing else.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eDo not confuse it with the rubber ring sometimes found around the cylinder rod. That is a protection ring used in production to keep paint off the rod and lower seal area.
