MTE pumps carry an S series model number on the sticker, for example S103T followed by four digits, or a KS number such as \u003ca href=\"\/products\/replacement-hydraulic-pump-3200ks\"\u003e3200KS\u003c\/a\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSPX pumps carry a DG or DE number and take different parts\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSupplied with the grommet\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003ch4\u003eThe cap is not optional\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eA new jack or pump is shipped with a round flush mounted fill plug sealing the reservoir for transport. At installation that plug is removed and discarded and the six sided breather cap goes in its place. Running the system with the reservoir sealed will make the jack operate erratically. The pump must also be mounted so the fill and breather cap points up and can be reached for filling.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEQ Systems hydraulic systems run on Dexron III ATF. With the jacks fully retracted the fluid level should sit about one inch below the top of the reservoir.
