The cylinder may need to be loosened and rotated to let the valve assembly spin on\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003ch4\u003eDiagnose before you replace\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eA slide room extending on its own from the stowed position means a loss of pressure in the common retract circuit, and trapped air is the leading cause. EQ Systems troubleshooting starts with bleeding the hydraulic system, jacks first and then the slide circuits, then a hose routing test to confirm the plumbing, before any part is changed. Fitting a new valve to a system full of air will not fix the drift.
